Graduating magna cum laude with a B.S in Computer and Information Sciences from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, Joe Merlino started his career in sales and quickly moved into sales management and executive roles with international manufacturers and national distributors of high-tech software and capital equipment products.
Throughout his career, Joe Merlino worked with companies that required significant shifts in their approach to sales, support and business development in order to compete. With an emphasis on staff education and mentoring, the implementation of sales process to direct behavior and best practices to develop skill, Joe has positioned companies to establish or regain leadership positions, counter increases in competition, introduce new products, penetrate new markets, and develop strategic partnerships and models of distribution to create and sustain business growth.
Passionate about changing the way people do business, Joe leveraged his experience and methods for change and founded Emergent Educational Services in 2005.
