Joseph Merlino founded Emergent Educational Services in 2004 after having spent 18 successful years in sales and management roles for national manufacturers and distributors in the fiercely competitive hi-tech software and capital equipment markets.

Throughout his career Mr. Merlino has worked with firms that looked to introduce new products and services, penetrate new markets, enter new geographic areas or drastically shift their approach to selling in an effort to offset market conditions and increase revenue and profitability.  

Mr. Merlino realized early on that clarity of purpose, adherence to sales process, measurable best practices and an integrated approach to skill development were critical for reaching and exceeding individual and team objectives. His approach has delivered consistent and predictable sales behavior that has led to increases in profit, sales revenue and business growth for the businesses with whom he has been associated.


SANDY REA / VICE-PRESIDENT OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Sandy Rae  

A recent addition to the EES team, Sandy Rea is a New Mexico native and self-described veteran in sales and
marketing.  In pursuing a career in print media, Mrs. Rea led advertising sales teams in successful turnaround management and expansion projects in six western states.  Prior to joining EES in mid-January 2008, Mrs. Rea led the product expansion effort in her local newspaper as Publisher of The Observer in Rio Rancho.
